Custom Keys FAQ

How much is shipping?

Our keys might be custom, but our rates are standardized. Shipping is $4.50 domestic and $10 international.

Do you offer free shipping?

You bet! Orders over $30 unlock free domestic U.S. shipping. Just like your front door, it’s on the house.

Do you ship internationally?

Wherever there’s a boring key, we’ll be there to put it out of its misery. We ship all over the world! Additional shipping costs may apply by region and will be added at checkout.

Feeling sticker shock after seeing the price to ship a key halfway around the planet? We run discounts and promotions all year long, so stay tuned for exclusive deals to get your keys there on any budget!

How long will it take to get my order?

We ship from California, and so are our arrival estimates. Depending on where you are, domestic orders will generally take 5-7 business days to arrive. International deliveries can take anywhere form 8-30 days.

Check your email confirmation for delivery details and tracking information.

What shipping carriers do you use?

We use USPS for all our orders. Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom will keep our keys from unlocking your house.

Can I return my product?

Your keys are a work of art. Would you return the Mona Lisa?! Juuuust kidding. But seriously, folks...

We want every one of our keys to wind up in a happy home. If you don’t love any of our products, we’re happy to help with a return. Just email us directly and we’ll walk you through the process. See return & returns policy for more info.

Can I design my own key?

Absolutely! Just make sure you’ve got a lot of locks or friends you trust with a spare because we can only do this if you order in bulk quantity. See our custom orders page.

Do you offer wholesale options?

Of course! Please refer to our wholesale page for more information.

Where Can I Get My Custom Key Cut?

You’ll need to get your key cut before you start using it and the process is fast, inexpensive, and easy. Big box hardware stores likely won’t be able to do the job, so you’ll need to visit a local locksmith. Just search “locksmith near me” on Google and you’ll have no trouble finding one. You can feel good about supporting a small business then feel even better that it costs less than $5. Don’t be surprised when they ask where you got the most interesting key they’ve seen all week!
